Artist of the Month

Every month we feature an artist in our window. We are not just a framing store but a company that is dedicated and passionate about supporting the arts, especially local artists. Susan Forbes Susan is primarily a watercolor artist, but she retains a love for oil painting figures. She has studied with Paul DuSold, the renowned portrait painter at the Woodmere Museum in Chestnut Hill and Jim McFarlane, the amazing watercolor master teacher and artist. Her main love, however, remains watercolor and it's cousin, gouache. Susan is a member of Norristown Art League and has shown at their many exhibitions. She has won 5 awards for her watercolors since joining in 2000. She is also an active member of the Woodmere Art Museum, where she takes classes. She has exhibited there in the member's shows.
